Popup Blockers
There are many different popup blockers.  Below are instructions on how to disable some of the most common types of popup blockers.

If you try to launch the hccs courseware and a window like the one below appears:
  • Exit this window

  • Disable your POPUP BLOCKER*(s)
  • Restart courseware

 

 
* How do I disable the popup blocker?
Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 2
  • Go To "Tools"

  • Highlight "Popup Blocker"
  • Left Click on "Turn off Popup Blocker"
  • Close Browser Window
  • Restart Courseware


 
Google Tool Bar
  • Single click using the left mouse button on "48 blocked."  (Please Note: This number will vary).

  • The button on the toolbar should then say, "Site popups allowed"

  • Left Click on "Ad Blocking"

  • Left Click on the "Turn Off" Button

  • Left Click on "Norton AntiSpam"
 
 
 

 

 

 

  • Left Click on "Detailed Status"

 
 

 

 

  • Press the "Turn Off" button.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  • Verify that Popup Blocking is turned "off".
